Microsoft Update Kb951748 Kills Internet
Microsoft have released a new update which has a side effect that stops zone alarm from accessing the Internet. (seems to be XP only I've got Vista and it's fine)
Some network files get over written and zone alarm blocks all connections, one fix is to set you security level down to medium that will restore your Internet connection, but is not ideal as its not as secure as when it's set to high.
Another fix is do a system restore to an earlier time/uninstall the KB951748 update but I assume this would only be a temp fix as the same thing would happen again when the system is updated......
